Dance Co Fest began in 2009 with a mission to develop choreographic skills and amplify meaningful dance education for Utah students. Dance Co Fest is specifically designed to provide High School Dance Companies with opportunities for additional, professional feedback on their student-choreographed work. Students are welcome to showcase any genre or variety of dance, and there is no limit to the number of dances a company can present. In Dance Co Fest’s 14 year history, a tremendous amount of talented student-choreographed work has been praised, evaluated and showcased in a state-of-the-art theater, complete with an experienced production staff, bringing validity and exposure to their work.

Our most recent festival was hosted at the Covey Center in Provo on March 21st and 22nd, 2023. We are building specialized judging panels for ballroom companies, but all teams are welcome to present ballroom choreography. There will be an evening gala on Wednesday, March 23, and all companies are invited to perform.

Received with enthusiasm and excitement by teachers and students alike, the Dance Co Fest experience has become a highly anticipated event for many high school dance programs throughout Utah.
